Charters Towers is buzzing with two inspiring stories that showcase our strong country roots and community spirit.
First up, a group of determined students are making history with the very first North Queensland High School Campdraft Cup, happening this August right here in Charters Towers. Entirely a student-led event created by bush kids, for bush kids. They’ve rallied support from across the state to make it happen!
Meanwhile, one local mum is quietly changing lives in her own way. Launching a new cattle club dedicated to giving North Queensland kids the chance to experience parading, especially those who don’t have access to a school show team.
